Binary Star

Binary Star is a trading name used occasionally by me, Merlyn Kline. I am a consultant software engineer. I have a special interest in the Internet but my skills are broad based, centred around programming. Most of my time is taken up running my ISP, Zynet, and my ASP, ZyWeb Ltd.

Since I'm already so busy I haven't bothered to build an extensive web site but feel free to contact me if you think I may be able to help you.

My interests and experience are in Acorn 6502 and RISC computers (now a thing of the past though their RISC processor lives on and is best known as Intel's StrongARM) and more recently Linux and, when necessary, Windows web servers. I have written software on all levels from assembly language system software through server side processes of all sorts to client side applications in high level languages running in desktop environments. I have a personal interest in the security and privacy issues arising from the increasingly ubiquitous nature of the Internet.
